Frank & Sharon Stadler
Frank's passion was golf and mine the horses.
While we did not share one another's passions we did support each other. I
occasionally played a round of golf with Frank and especially enjoyed the
"vacation golf" on Kauai, Molokai, Cancun and our favorite getaway courses
in Canada. Frank was always available to do "honey-do" projects in the barn
and was the official chauffer for the show judges and stewards when I was
the show manager for the IEMHC. |

I began with a little
stallion as a pet and of course had to have more! Serendipity Stables was
born! It took me a couple of years to determine just what type of miniature
I wanted to raise. When I saw the beautiful Sundance Arenosas my search was
over! Using the horses I selected from Sundance and other breeders I
developed my own breeding program.
Frank was diagnosed with Parkinson's
Disease shortly after he retired from his medical practice in 2002. He was
fairly stable until 2007 when the disease began to exacerbate rapidly. I
struggled to manage his care, the property and the horses. In late summer
2010 I made the decision to disperse my breeding stock and Serendipity Stables
as a business entity. In the ten short years since the purchase of my first
mini I have been fortunate and successful beyond my hopes and expectations! It has been a
great ride!

On August 29, 2012 my beloved Frank passed
away. I have a huge hole in my heart but I know he is now free from the
terrible disease that clouded his mind and crippled his body. Until we meet
again, my love....
